Component Management and Server Application Configuration

• User Application Component Management

  

  1. Toolbar Menu

     Toolbar	Functions
     Refresh	Reverts component database to original state
     Reset	Clears selected component selection
     Remove	Deletes selected components
     Store	Connects to NEST store for updating and obtaining components
     Import	Registers component files found on the file system to the NEST component database
     Export	Component files found on the NEST component database is copied onto you desired directory
     Add	Opens the component editor where you can code to create new NEST components
     Modify	Opens the component editor where you can code to modify NEST components

  2. User Application Component Publication

     This section contains information on how to publicize NEST user application components, information regarding how to create and modify user application components can be found on the Regference / Example Chapter. User application components can be uploaded onto the NEST Store and shared in the NEST Community. More information on shareing and uploading components can be found on https://ide.nestpia.com

     1. A "New Component" popup window will appear after clicking on Add found on the Component Management toolbar.

        

     2. In the "New Component" popup window properly enter the ID (Class Name) then proceed to click Finish. A component editor will appear on which you code to complete creating your component.

        

     3. Once the component is completed clicking Install will store the component onto the NEST component database.
     4. After clicking Install go back to the Component Management utility and select the component you have just developed then click on Export if you wish to share or upload your component. If not your component creation is complete.

        

     5. On the Export popup window that appears indicate which directory to copy the component onto. If more then one component was selected to be packaged, click on the check box under Browse.

        

• Server Component Management

  2. Importing Server Application Components

     

     1. Click on Import tool from the Component Management toolbar and select which project to import
     2. To select a server project from the NEST directory, click on "Select project"
     3. In order to include the source code of the selected server project, click in "Include Source"
     4. For selecting a server project from the operating file system click "Select directory" and locate desired server project.
  3. Server Application Component Publication

• Server Application Configuration

  NEST uses JSON Data Expression through HTTP based web server for AJAX. The Server Configuration Utility is used to easily manage server project components and effortlessly acces them on NEST to add server components to the server project.

  Server Configuration Utility (server.config)

  Server Configuration Utility provides AJAX server components, easily connects the target databases to the application, and manages them.

  2. Ajax Server Application Component List

     AJAX server application component are made using Java, therefore the list is displayed in packages to keep things organizined by placing related classes and interface into packages.

  3. Palette

     All components possessed by the NEST IDE is listed and can be easily utilized. Additionally, all server components can be reused.
     Components can be dragged and droped onto the Ajax Server Component List to add components.

  4. Connected Database

     Users that already have a database and a database account (IP or URL, ID, Password) can automatically connect their application to the database to easily display the data in their database onto the application
